Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) has set its sights on the fragrance business with the introduction of a charcoal and smoked wood fragrance.

“That unmistakable barbecue aroma floating through the air, teasing our senses and making us crave a taste of smoky goodness. But what if you could capture that irresistible scent in a bottle?” KFC wrote about its strange idea.

The perfume is called No 11 Eau de BBQ. It comes in sleek, black-and-red-striped 100-milligram bottles that sell for a modest $13.82.

"If it weren't for the KFC logo at the bottom of the label, I would have thought it was a high-end scent," wrote a reviewer for the Warwickshire World. “I originally thought the scent would convey a classic barbecue smell, like when you're outside and smell someone nearby cooking on a grill.”

Instead, the "sublime" scent is a shockingly "more musky and inviting scent" than expected.
